The company is located in the Technopole Bordeaux Montesquieu and the Eurekâfab fablab, centres that promote collaborative research, innovation, digital manufacturing and exchange..

Ilona PINTO DE ARAUJO

Founder

Licensed Architect | ESTP Engineer | Computational Designer

Ilona Pinto de Araujo is a licensed architect and ESTP engineer, specialised in computational design. She holds a Specialised Master’s in Design by Data from the École des Ponts ParisTech, which complements her background in architecture and engineering.

Her career spans architecture, urban planning and environmental engineering, where she has led computational design-driven projects focusing on procedural modelling, multi-criteria optimisation and urban morphogenesis. Through these experiences she has developed a deep expertise in algorithmic approaches to design and decision making.

In 2021, Ilona founded Datamorphoz, a multidisciplinary engineering firm dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design through algorithmic processes. By bridging generative methods, automation, and environmental simulation, her work challenges conventional design workflows and fosters innovation across architecture, engineering, and construction.
